Hi there! I specialize in Balayage, Blondes, and Extensions. I am also a Color Specialist. I have been doing hair now for 8+ years and I make a point to continue my education yearly keeping up to date on any trends and techniques that are important to myself and my clientele. Heather and I opened our salon in hopes of creating a beautiful yet cozy atmosphere for women to spend time with us and leave feeling as beautiful and wonderful as possible! I am proud to be the owner and hairstylist of Chroma Salon & Beauty Lounge along with my partner Jordan Boersma. Our joint venture has brought together the best hair colorists in Hampton Roads collaborating talents to cover all your beauty needs. I have been in the salon industry for over 27years and a salon owner for 20years. My business experience has enhanced my customer service abilities and led to a successful clientele.
My education is beyond exceptional, training with Tony&Guy for 7 years, covering the New England Territory as an Ambassador for the company. I also assisted in the launch of Irving and Louise Rusk Sensories Line. My many certifications include: Framesi certified color specialist for 25years(Elite Mota Capelli) Tony&Guy academy, Rusk caravan training, Gram Web International, Schwartzhoph, Paul Mitchell, Matrix, Sebastian, Alterna, Avada, JCrew, Keritan Treatments( Brazilian blowout, Bella), CND, OPI.
My greatest strengths in hair design is Gray Coverage, Curly hair of all ethnicities, European Cutting, Clipper cutting, Finish work, and educating.
My greatest accomplishments are my beautiful children, grandchildren, and wonderful marriage of 20+years to my supportive husband. To my family I owe the most for the sacrifice they have made to allow me to achieve my career goals & dreams.
